In one of the scenic locations of Ashgabat the French construction giant “Bouygues” is completing the construction of a new building of Museum of Turkmen Carpet.
The Carpet Museum is really a unique collection of valuable hand-made carpets, some of which are more than a hundred years old. This collection of national heritage of Turkmen people needs a worthy setting.

While designing and constructing the hew ‘house’ for Carpet Museum the architects had to solve several specific tasks as the building with the floor space exceeding 5000 square metres is meant for storing, restoring and displaying of the unique carpet collection.
