By 2010 in Tbilisi there will be constructed 10 new high-class hotels. This year Radisson SAS hotel the construction of which is being completed on the place where “Iveria” hotel once stood, will open its doors to the guests of the Georgia’s capital. The hotel will feature 249 guestrooms, a spa-centre, a casino, a number of restaurants, as well as branches of some banks.

At present a continuous construction works are carried out on the site of the five-star Park Hyatt Tbilisi hotel. The works are financed by EBRD and OPIC and the completion phase is scheduled for 2010. The 30-storey hotel complex will accommodate 70 deluxe suites and a number of commercial premises.

In 2011 the hotel network of Tbilisi will be expanded by one more hotel under a well-known brand: 4-star Novotel hotel. The hotel is designed for 200 guestrooms, a number of restaurants and shopping malls. On completion of the construction works Novotel will be managed by Accor company – the owner of “Novotel” brand.
Another giant project to be accomplished is the construction of Kempinski Tbilisi hotel. “Kempinski” is one of the leading international brands in hospitality business. Investment group “Capital Vostok” partners this project.

The construction of the above hotels will make for a considerable increase of luxury hotel resources in Georgian capital.
