The main feature of this year's festival is that various winter sport events will run in Tianshan Mountain gorge till the end of February 2012. Within these events there will be organized a competition on surmounting 6 ice and snow obstacles. The prize for the winner is 10,000 yuans. In addition, during the Festival, there will be held various outdoor festivities, ice sculpture competition, skating activities and many other entertaining events.
