AZERBAIJAN: A new five-star hotel complex to be built in Azerbaijan

The construction of a state-of-the-art hotel complex has been started in Talystan village of Ismailly region. An area of 35 hectares will accommodate two 5-star hotels for 250 rooms each, a swimming pool, golf course and other entertainment facilities.
The hotel complex will be built in full compliance with modern world standards for such type of constructions, whereas elements of national building practices will be applied in the architecture of the complex. The up-to-date facilities will provide the highest level of services for the guests of the complex.

Ismailly region of Azerbaijan abounds in nature reserves and historical monuments. Ismailly national park, located in eastern part of the Great Caucasus, is a unique nature phenomenon and one of the most beautiful places in Azerbaijan. In Ismailly region there have been preserved national applied arts and crafts: carpet-making, copperplate and cold steel engraving, wood carving, manufacture of national women’s silk scarves with imprinted patterns. In some villages of the region there were set up history and culture reserves where many historical monuments of the 7th-18th centuries are under the state protection.

The creation of tourist infrastructure in Ismailly region will make for attraction to Azerbaijan of enthusiasts of eco- and cultural tourism.
